Cara Ferguson
Director of Marketing
As the Director of Marketing at Directional Cue, she helps build and grow your e-commerce strategy to increase your overall customer acquisition and customer retention. She identifies, prioritizes, develops and capitalizes on new growth opportunities based on data analysis and testing.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from San Diego State University. As a seasoned professional in the retail e-commerce space, she’s spoken at several industry conferences on mobile marketing, customer acquisition and customer retention.
In her free time, she appreciates true crime podcasts and tv shows, reading and experiencing Austin’s unique and diverse nightlife. She has two cute West Highland Terriers whom she loves.

Abby Kaplan
Content Marketing Manager
As the Content Marketing Manager at Directional Cue, she leads the creative team and supports you with the messaging and design that help your brand stand out in saturated Marketplace channels.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin’s renowned “Texas Creative” portfolio school, as well as a Business Foundations specialization from The University of Texas at Austin McComb’s School of Business.
Outside of work, she volunteers with Austin dog rescue organizations and makes most of her household purchases through Amazon Prime. She has a rescue Maltipoo named Kiley.
